# Privacy and data handling

## iPhone app

The app calculates on-device without an account or internet connection. It saves only the selected currency preference in app settings on the device. Calculation inputs and comparison scenarios are held in memory; there is no saved calculation history or cloud synchronisation. The app collects no personal or calculation data and contains no advertising, analytics or tracking services. If you contact support by email, the support team receives your email address and the information you choose to send.

## Website

Calculations run in browser memory. The site does not save entered figures across visits or include them in URLs. Cost, selling price, profit, margin and markup inputs are not intentionally included in analytics requests. Reloading resets the editable example. Live advertising is disabled.

The public website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages and uses Cloudflare Web Analytics for aggregate page views, referring pages, broad browser and device categories, and page-loading performance. Cloudflare Web Analytics does not use analytics cookies or store analytics information in the browser. Cloudflare states that the service discards source IP addresses at the nearest Cloudflare data centre rather than storing them in its core real-user monitoring databases or logs. The hosting service also processes ordinary request and connection information.

The local preview server may log file requests and local connection information; it does not receive calculator inputs or load the public Cloudflare analytics beacon. A future live advertising integration will require updated disclosures and any applicable consent controls.
