Privacy information
Sales Margin & Markup for iPhone
The iPhone app processes cost, selling price, profit, margin and markup on your device. It does not send your calculations to us or to a server. No account or internet connection is required.
The app saves your selected currency in the app’s settings on your device so it can remember your choice. Calculation inputs and comparison scenarios are held in memory while the app is running; the app does not save a calculation history or provide cloud synchronisation. Changing the currency changes formatting and rounding only; it does not fetch exchange rates.
We do not collect personal data or calculation data through the app. The app contains no advertising, analytics or tracking services. It does not request access to your contacts, camera, microphone, photos or location.
If you email support, we receive your email address and the information you choose to include so we can respond. Please do not include confidential pricing or customer information unless it is needed for your enquiry. Your email provider and ours process that correspondence separately from the app.
Website privacy
This page describes the current version of Sales Margin & Markup. Live advertising is disabled. The public website uses Cloudflare Web Analytics as described below.
Your calculations
The calculator processes your figures in your browser. Cost, selling price, profit, margin and markup entries are not intentionally included in analytics requests, put in the page address or saved across visits. Closing or reloading the page clears the calculation you entered.
Cloudflare Web Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate website usage and page performance. It measures information such as page views, referring pages, broad browser and device categories, and page-loading performance through a JavaScript beacon. It does not use analytics cookies or store analytics information in your browser.
Cloudflare receives ordinary connection information when serving the website and processing analytics reports. Cloudflare states that its Web Analytics service discards source IP addresses at the nearest Cloudflare data centre rather than storing them in its core real-user monitoring databases or logs. Cookies and browser storage
This website does not set analytics cookies or store your entered figures in browser storage. See our cookie information.
Hosting requests
The hosting provider may process ordinary request information, such as requested file paths, request times and connection details, when serving this website. Calculator inputs are not included in those requests. Hosting and operator disclosures must be confirmed before public launch.
App imagery
The page uses existing app artwork and an example app screen. Those figures are examples, not another visitor’s calculations.
